Job Opening – Plant Manager (Cork)

AGS Recruitment is representing a leading heating systems company in Co. Cork to recruit a full-time Plant Manager. This role offers a chance to work locally in Cork while being part of a renowned Irish heating systems company.


  • Responsible for all Operational activities within the organization including Quality, Production, Material, Distribution & Distributions Sites in UK & Northern Ireland.
  • Responsible for all Support Engineering activities within the organization including Technical service, Quotations, Heat Loss Calculations, Commissioning Dept, Product Engineering.
  • Work closely with R&D on new product introduction and keep up to date on product and application legislations.
  • Work with the finance team on elements of the P&L, such as labor cost, material cost, distribution.
  • Develop, Build, and Maintain excellent relationships with all current and potential Clients & Suppliers/partners.
  • Maximize all opportunities through networking skills and data acquisition.
  • Implement and communicate a strategic business plan for the future.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate with business owners and decision-makers by keeping abreast of all Industry knowledge.
  • Have the ability to develop with new technologies and work closely with the Sales Manager on all future planning.
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Strong Technical experience and ability within the heating/Construction industry.
  • 4+ years of Sales Management experience.
  • Highly motivated & Energetic with a proven track record.
  • Dynamic and results-oriented.
  • Experience in delivering Strategic Planning.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification desirable or equivalent experience.
